Latest release enhances platform already used by 30,000 physicians supporting 15 million patients

CHICAGO, ILL. – June 17, 2013 –Valence Health, a leading provider of clinical integration,population health and financial risk management solutions, announced today the general availability of its Vision 3.0 technology platform for managing value-based care.Used by more than 30,000 physicians in support of care for more than 15 million patients, the Valence Vision platform provides all the necessary clinical and financial insights for population health, risk stratification and predictive modeling of quality and financial outcomes.

The Vision platform also supports multiple modules including: Quality and Compliance, and Cost and Utilization. The latest version of the Vision platform includes advances in user design, analytical capabilities and additional flexibility for ad hoc analyses.

Highlights of Vision 3.0 include:•

Enhanced user interface
– The new design of the Valence Vision 3.0 user interface enables easier navigation and role-based workflow. This reduces the number of clicks needed to access critical information and allows users to save custom reports and populations within a session and for future use.•

Expanded custom query capabilities
– With its new Population Finder feature, Valence customers can more easily define specific patient populations or conditions for analyses and reporting.•

Innovative EMR interface engine
– This provides greater richness of clinical content and empowers Vision 3.0 to interface with any CCHIT-certified EMR within four weeks.•

Robust, role-based customization
– This allows Valence customers to set specific views and access capabilities for various users including executives, administrators,care coordinators, physicians, quality managers and more.

Patients and providers can also be measured and communicated with around guideline compliance. At the same time, cost and utilization information can be fully analyzed by condition, patient, provider location and more. Together with all its modules, Valence Vision 3.0 represents a comprehensive solution for managing value-based care models which empowers providers to simultaneously review clinical and financial information in pursuit of higher quality and lower costs.

In near-term future releases of Vision, Valence will expand the set of standard reports, enhance its dashboards and report cards with benchmarking and better workflow, and introduce acute-care focused analyses such as predictive models for ER visits and read missions.
